Toyota and Lexus continue to develop ever-more efficient, responsive and desirable hybrid options, including plug-in hybrids.

PLUG-IN HYBRIDS

Using the same technology as self-charging hybrids when driving, plug-in hybrids additionally feature a larger battery that can also be recharged using mains power. This extends the zero-emission, electric-only range of the vehicle available before the combustion engine is required.

FULL BATTERY-ELECTRIC

The Toyota Mirai was the world’s first mass-market hydrogen-powered vehicle. With a 400-mile driving range using hydrogen and emitting only water, the second generation Mirai sees a further 30% increase in range through improvements to the fuel cell stack and larger on-board hydrogen tanks.
