Owners have voted Toyota the most reliable car brand in the Auto Trader New Car Awards.
Based on the real-world experiences of UK motorists, the award reflects the satisfaction of more than 148,000 drivers submitting their opinions on 16 different criteria ranging from reliability and performance to appearance and running costs.
The Toyota Yaris Hybrid has taken the 2021 What Car? Best True MPG Title whilst RAV4 set the Best Figure Around Town. In town, the Yaris Hybrid returned 80mpg, almost double the economy of conventionally powered small hatchbacks and overall, managing 59.3mpg, is the most efficient car ever tested.
Following its latest design changes and the availability of a more powerful engine, Toyota Hilux was awarded Pick-Up of the Year in the 2021 Van Fleet World Awards.
In addition to Hilux title, the Toyota Proace City also won a “highly commended” rating in the Compact High Cube category.
Lexus manufactures the most reliable cars in the UK, according to the 2021 customer Satisfaction Index published by reviews website Honestjohn.co.uk.
The result is based on the responses of more than 5,000 drivers who rated their cars in key criteria, including reliability, fuel economy, practicality and performance. Vehicles were also ranked for build quality, ease of use, safety and repair costs.
